DAY 1
The Sardegna Getaway starts in one of the best hotels in Switzerland : The Dolder Grand. To describe this iconic hotel in a couple of words is not possible. The hotel shines at a height over Zürich and looks out onto the lake. Follow in the footsteps of numerous famous persons who stayed here before you.
Please feel welcome for the welcome drink and dinner in the hotel in the evening.

DAY 2
The day starts with a royal breakfast in The Dolder Grand. It’s hard to find better quality and choice. You’re able to choose between traditional or healthy contemporary dishes.
You’ll head from Zürich towards the mountains for a big portion of driving pleasure. Today driving the Susten Pass is on the menu. Considered by many as one of the nicest passes in Switzerland. It’s time to discover and appreciate your sportscar better than before.
You’ll end the day in style in the next iconic hotel : The Chedi in Andermatt. Be overwhelmed by unique impressions, exquisite facilities and a splendid location. Another experience to check of your bucket list.
DAY 3
Today the Tour heads direction Italy. You will drive via challenging passes like the Gothard towards Genoa. You’ll descend from the Alps to this harbour city where you take the ferry to your end destination : Sardinia.
Your car goes on board the ship and a comfortable cabin guarantees you a good night’s sleep.
DAY 4
After a whole night at sea, you reach a heavenly part of Italy in the morning: Sardinia.
The island is called the Caribbean of Europe and this is certainly not an exaggeration. The island has all the assets to provide us pure quality time.
To really wake up, we look for a nice place for your breakfast. Today the first kilometers on the island are driven towards the hotel where you will stay for the next 3 nights: Li Finistreddi. They call themselves an ‘exclusive country retreat’ and it really is.
The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of the island, the Costa Smeralda, in the north. This is the ideal starting point for the coming days.
On this day we will take a moment of rest so that you can relax and get to know this beautiful place.
DAY 5
You might not expect it, but experts claim that the island has some roads that are among the most beautiful in the world. That is why it is also a popular place for car launches of premium brands.
Today will be a real drivers day.
For this you will receive a detailed road book that will take you along refined roads.
We stop on time at beautiful places.
DAY 6
Today there is a fun activity on the program. We won’t reveal the content yet. In any case, it will be another unforgettable moment. Yolo, you only live once !
DAY 7 & 8
There is another great Tour on the program today.
After checking out of Li Finistreddi, you drive back to the ferry via a beautifully marked route.
Along the way you will stop at idyllic spots and something culinary will be provided before we take the boat.
The next morning you have the choice to drive home directly from Genoa or you can make another overnight stay. RUFIE will propose a hotel halfway here without obligation.

Which car to participate with?
- RUFIE loves bringing sports car enthusiasts together. It’s not about racing or being the fastest, but about driving pleasure on beautiful roads. All premium brands are welcome.
- The Tour is dedicated to oldtimers and recent premium sportcars. You are in the best place to judge if your oldtimer is fitted for this trip.
- One important point is to dispose of an actual gps and to have the skills of using it. In the ideal world your GPS is able to import a gpx-file.
Total route distance
The total distance to be covered depends on your place of residence, but expect about on 3200 km.
